The Krell Patch for the Shuttle System by Todd Barton
Original description by Todd (https://www.youtube.com/user/vgermuse) :
I originally developed my Krell patch on a Buchla 200e system. Timbre and ever-evolving sound is my passion. The Krell patch is a self-generating patch devoted to unfolding new sounds and phrases. At times its journey reminds me of 1950’s musique concrète pieces. It is like a sonic kaleidoscope and starting point for further explorations.
Now I’m happily creating a variation of that patch for the Endorphines’ Shuttle! The Shuttle offers so many possibilities with all the onboard effects and wide array of filters and modulations. My video tutorial unfolds the basics of the patch and leaves ample room for further exploration and discovery.
The core of the patch is randomizing the attack and decay of a function generator so that each iteration has a different envelop shape which gives the patch life and each sound diversity.
