How to Play Blinding Lights by The Weeknd on Guitar

In this guitar lesson we show you how to play Blinding Lights by The Weeknd. This is a very popular song and a lot of fun to play on guitar.

The great thing about Blinding Lights is that the song only has 4 chords throughout the entire song, making it a really easy song to learn.

If you want to play the song in its original key you will need a capo on the third fret. If you don't have a capo, you can still play Blinding Lights with these same chord shapes, but it will sound a little bit lower than the original version by The Weeknd.

There is no acoustic guitar in the original recording of Blinding Lights, so there is no specific guitar strumming pattern to duplicate. This means that a variety of strumming patterns could work. In this lesson, we will show you a strumming pattern that will work really well on Blinding Lights. It is also a strumming pattern that is used on many popular songs, so you may already know it.
