The Korg Polysix is a six-voice programmable polyphonic analog synthesizer released by Korg in 1981. It's known for its beautifully lush production of pads and analog sounds. The Korg Polysix has 1 VCO with 1 sub-oscillator per voice, it has 61 keys, a resonant low-pass filter and 32 programmable memory slots. The Korg Polysix also has a cassette backup of memory and it's sounds include chorus, phase, and ensemble! The Korg Polysix has very warm-sounding oscillators and it's sound is often preferred over the Roland Juno. It was known to be one of the first affordable synthesizers, as most synthesizers were used in an expensive studio setting at the time. Let's dive in to some cool facts about the Korg Polysix!
