The title of this song is a bit long, so I decided to put it here:

"From seeds of disappointment, forests of grudge are born".

It's a simple two chord based melody, recorded straight from my Tonewave FX Caramel + Preset + DSM / Humboldt Simplifier base tone into the Microcosm looper on Granules Haze 4, then added three layers of improvisation from the parallel loops that are on Matrise, and adapt them to a different algorithm on Microcosm:

– Particle + Motion Loop ML-1L into Mosaic 4 for a cascading waterfall of notes
– Mood + Condor into Seq 2 to add some bass rhythm
– Blooper into Strum 3, preparing the bed to the reverse part of the song, more gentle and meditative. The slow and melancholic melody in the Blooper is feeded into a long pad preset of Mood near the end of the piece.
All the layers are passing through a Plate reverb on the CXM1978 with Med Tank Mod, and a preset I made on XLN RC-20 to add a little bit of analog feel.

The rain you see and hear was recorded using LOM Uši into my handheld recorder in ORTF.

Made some equalization in post with Ozone9 Elements to the master track and added Bertom Denoiser to the rain track that had too much low presence.
